Although I’ve explored different careers, wellness and nursing are the ones that continue to call me. I am licensed as a Registered Nurse as well as a Certified Brain Injury Specialist and Reiki Practitioner. As a student of western medicine, I understand and respect the value of traditional medical care. In my career, I’ve served patients with conditions such as Alzheimers, dementia, Parkinsons, and head trauma. I have helped cardiac rehab and pain management patients as well. Regardless of the condition or area of medicine, skilled nursing fills a vital role and I am grateful for the opportunity to provide a high quality of compassionate care for so many. I also strongly believe that eastern medicine (Reiki, meditation, massage, acupuncture) has a significant place in our quest for overall health. It’s through a combination of both that I feel my clients will gain the most benefit.
My passion to start The Whole Health Way was ignited as a result of my own health issues. Creating my own care plan and advocating for myself was an enlightening experience. Through this process, I learned that I always had the tools and resources to find the answer that was right for me. It took me a long time to realize that it was okay, and even preferable, to be my own advocate in creating my healthcare plan—and to rely on both medical and non-medical treatments and practices to achieve the best results. We all come equipped with our own way to heal and it’s important to advocate for what you know you need, without feeling judged or dismissed.
My goal is to help my clients feel educated and empowered; to speak up and find their own individual path to healing. I am here to support and guide you along the way.
